Supply maintenance at Norwich EOC

Power supply work is due to be carried out in Norwich EOC tomorrow (15^th April), starting at 10.30am, which means the CAD system will be powered by the national grid mains only.

The estates team will be replacing batteries for the uninterruptable power supply, so for approximately three to four hours, systems will be at risk of any national grid issues or outages.

This is a low risk but all Norwich EOC critical systems will be transferred to Bedford or Chelmsford prior to work starting if necessary; this means crews working in Norfolk, Suffolk or Cambridgeshire will coordinate with Bedford or Chelmsford. All three control rooms have additional staff working to anticipate any disruption.
