Take part in new workforce race equality standard (wres) workshop

The Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) enables employees from black and minority ethnic (BME) backgrounds to have equal access to career opportunities and receive fair treatment in the workplace.

The WRES team at NHS England is working with organisations to help them to better understand the nature of the challenges faced with regards to race equality, and employ an evidence-based plan to close the gap on BME and white experiences in the workplace.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the WRES workshop planned for December has been recheduled due to service pressures associated with the weather. We will be re-arranging another date in the coming weeks and will publish the details of this nearer the time for individuals to nominate themselves to attend.

In the meantime please contact Ema Ojiako to register your interest in taking part in the future workshop or any other related activities that will support the Trust in achieving it’s equality, diversity and Inclusion objectives: Ema Ojiako, Deputy Director of People and Culture, on 07740 545 128 or email:Ema.Ojiako@eastamb.nhs.uk
