Tea and coffee for staff

Following reports that staff in areas of Bedfordshire will be providing their own teas and coffees at their base station from September, staff are being assured that arrangements are not being changed.

This means all staff, regardless of whether they are based at the station or stopping there for a break, will be able to use the refreshments. This is the case across the Trust.

Chief Executive Dr Anthony Marsh said: “We want to be doing everything we can to support frontline staff. Once I was made aware that arrangements were changing, I took immediate steps to learn why, and also who it affected. The arrangements for everyone to use the tea and coffee will remain in place and I have also issued an apology to the affected staff.”
