Terms and conditions update on mileage

New revised national mileage allowances contained within section 17 of the National Terms and Conditions came into force on 1^st July.

Details of these changes can be found on the NHS employers website. The headline changes of this review are:

Annual mileage	Effective from 1st July (per mile)
Up to 3,500 miles (standard rate)	Reduces from 67p to 54p
More than 3,500 miles	Reduces from 24p to 20p
Motorcycle rate per mile	Reduces from 33p to 27p
Reserve rate	Reduces from 33p to 27p
Cycle and passenger allowances	Remains unchanged

 

The next review will be undertaken in November to take effect from 1^st January 2015. The Trust’s business travel policy has been amended accordingly and is now available on the Trust’s website.
