The Ambulance Response Programme standards: an introduction

RRV with blue lights

We’ve been really encouraged by how many people have started to talk with teams and leaders about the Ambulance Response Programme and how it’ll be implemented at EEAST.

This follows the national launch in July, and hopefully you would have had sight of the update circulated in the Trust at the time.

The ARP Programme Board has been set up with project groups covering work areas including Ops and EOC, clinical quality, IM&T, communications and engagement, and finance, and to give oversight on governance and assurances.

As we build more materials to help everyone understand the ARP impact and what will happen before, during and after implementation, please visit this introductory page to start getting to grips with the concept of dispatch and triage changes and the responses we’ll be making to patients. The videos within it are public-facing so some of the information has been simplified for the general public: http://east24/Strategy-and-Plans/ambulance-response-programme.htm

The project group overseeing engagement will have representation from a range of groups but please look out for further NTK articles requesting people to feedback, and speak with team leaders and line managers with questions and queries.
