The communications team would love to hear from you!

Ambulance side shot

You hear from us on a regular basis; we can often be seen appearing in your stations and offices. But what can the communications team do for you?

The communications team is here to link people together, whether those people are staff and volunteers, patients, public, or media, stakeholders and other organisations.

We also manage the Trust’s social media accounts, where we interact with staff, the public, and other organisations throughout the world.

We also arrange patient meet ups, which are always a great way of reinforcing to staff why it is they do this job. If you ever go to a job you think would make a good media story, maybe someone at the scene deserves special recognition, then be sure to get in touch.

Both our internal and external websites, as well as the rolling news site, Need to Know, are run by the comms team. Until recently our Internal Communications was led by Hollie Cowan, who has now left us for pastures new, and Ashleigh Rickards will be managing its content going forward. If you have something that you think would be a great piece to share with staff, or you need some help drumming up support for a charity event, then please do let her know via the contact form on East24 or emailing her directly.

Our strengths lay in sharing information and getting a message across. We can help create posters, infographics, animations and videos for any projects you may have.

Our YouTube channel is becoming increasingly popular and we use this to share videos about training, messages from staff and the executive team and most recently, coverage of our events.

The communications page on the Intranet gives you all of the teams contact details, as well as a contact comms form. You can also message us via our WhatsApp number 07739 325263.
