Time to march with Pride

Pride brighton web

A summer of Pride events are filling the calendar – and you are invited to get involved.

In 1972, the first British Pride parade took place in London with 1,000 people marching from Trafalgar Square to Hyde Park.

Now, 45 years later, the event has expanded across the country, with thousands of people from the LGBT community attending.

It is now recognised as a celebration of equality, diversity and inclusion for all people who identify themselves as LGBT.

As a number of Pride events return to the region, you can get involved and show your support:

If you fancy going further afield, you could join South East Coast Ambulance Service Trust (SECAmb) at the Brighton and Hove parade on Saturday, 5th August from 10am.

Family, friends and supporters will be provided with new design Pride t-shirts whilst uniform staff can wear their uniforms.
