Funded MSc top-ups announced

Chelmsford student paramedics

The successful applicants have been announced for a scheme allowing student paramedics to have part of their remaining MSc credits paid for by EEAST.

A unique funding opportunity was recently advertised whereby Paramedics with at least 80 level 7 (MSc) university credits at either the University of East Anglia (UEA), Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) or the University of Hertfordshire (UOH) could apply to have up to 100 of their remaining credits funded by the Trust.

This would allow the completion of Masters awards and in many cases the removal of large personal financial commitments.

There was great interest and, due to the high demand, successful applicants were drawn at random to receive a place at the university where their studies were ongoing (UEA, ARU or UOH).

The successful recipients are:

UEA - Simon Rose and Nicholas Williams

ARU - Jacqueline Christie and Karl Schroder

UOH - Simon Nunn and Adam Clulow

Well done and all the very best with your continuing courses of study.
