Trust DLO receives two Hidden Gems in same day

South Cambs DLO, Rachel Avery received two Hidden Gem awards from the Trust, totally unconnected, on the same day.

Rachel, who is currently a Quality Improvement Manager for PTS in Cambridgeshire, was presented with the first award for work carried out during her substantive role as a DLO where she counselled a colleague through a very difficult time in their career. The second award was in her role with the PTS team, and was awarded by staff when Rachel made a point of speaking to all PTS staff, finding out the issues and acting upon them, raising morale.

Rachel said: “I’m humbled to receive the Hidden Gems. I love my job and enjoy being able to support staff in the workplace. I have the Trust values at heart and feel privileged to have been recognised for the dedication I have to my staff. We’re a team and the wellbeing of our colleagues is really important to me.”

The Hidden Gem scheme, is a Trust-wide recognition scheme that allows you to nominate a colleague for exemplifying the Trust’s values. The nominees receive a certificate and a personal letter from EEAST Chief Executive, Robert Morton.  If you know a colleague who deserves a Hidden Gem visit East24 and nominate them today!
