Trust launches new e-learning portal, LearnZone

RRV with blurred paramedic

Today (Thursday, 1st December) sees the launch of LearnZone, our new e-learning site that will bring training packages to you at the click of a button.

Starting out in supporting mandatory training assessments and the professional update (PU) programme, LearnZone can be accessed on a computer, tablet or smartphone to allow you to complete e-learning in a time and place that suits you.

Everyone at the Trust will be sent an individual logon for the system via their Trust email account, and as soon as you’ve got yours you’ll be good to go.

Save http://learn.eastamb.nhs.uk as a shortcut on your phone, tablet or PC today!

Complete your mandatory training online

The mandatory training assessments are available to be completed via LearnZone, but don’t have to be completed in one go - you can dip in and out of the sections as you have time available.

You’ll receive a certificate for your own use when you have successfully completed the assessment, but results are reported automatically to the learning and development unit, who in turn report these to managers, so there is no need for you to pass on copies. Electronic versions of the Staff Handbook and Manual Handling Handbook (‘Handle with Care’) are available on the assessment pages, should you want to reference them during the training.

If you have any questions about the new e-learning site, or the staff handbook, please contact Learning and Development Manager Mike Magowan, at mike.magowan@eastamb.nhs.uk
