Vehicles to be audited monthly for infection prevention and control

Our infection prevention and control (IPC) audit schedule is currently being reviewed to ensure that it continues to meet requirements for IPC auditing. The key components like the frequency of vehicle and station audits won’t be changed. 

The intention is for operational A&E vehicles and PTS vehicles to be audited each month, with station and staff audits alternating each month. Out-of-hours premises and staff will continue to be audited each month. 

Please continue to use the 2014/15 audit schedule, which can be found on East24 or within the IPC manuals on stations (updated audit forms are now available on East24).
