Volunteers needed for Suffolk college day

The Trust’s patient and public involvement (PPI) team is looking for volunteers for a public event in Suffolk.

West Suffolk College’s engagement day will be on Tuesday, 27^th September and runs from 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Sotu Marshall-Wyer, PPI Manager, said: “It would be great to have as many patient-facing staff as possible, even if they can only spare an hour or so throughout the day, to talk to the students about their job and get them involved in some practical exercises like CPR.  

“We hope to have some of our volunteers there too to provide demonstrations throughout the day. We will also be initiating a youth Trust User Group – similar to the Trust User Group but a different demographic, and hope to encourage applications to the Trust by offering careers advice.”
