Volunteers' week 2017

It’s only 1 week until Volunteers' Week 2017 kicks off and we can’t wait to showcase and thank our amazing volunteers!

This year’s theme is you make the difference, a statement so true it runs to the core of everything we do; because our volunteers really do make the difference in our staff and patient’s lives each and every day.

Tune in to #weareEEAST on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram from 1 to 7 June to follow all the action as we celebrate and promote the work of our volunteer car drivers, Trust User Group, chaplains and community first responders.

And in the lead up to 1 June, we want to hear from you! Please comment below with your thoughts on why our volunteers are so important, how they help the Trust and your personal experiences and interactions with any of our volunteer groups. We’ll be promoting what you have to say during the week.
