We’re on the lookout again for colleagues to work with us at this year’s V Festival.

We’re providing emergency and first-aid cover for the four-day musical event at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, which is set to attract crowds of 80,000.

This year the festival, which is running from 18th – 21st August, includes a line-up of crowd-pulling artists like Jay-Z,  P!nk, Rudimental  and George Ezra.

We’re after colleagues of all grades to help us treat patients at the event and avoid hospital admissions, including; patient transport services, emergency care assistants, intermediate ambulance practitioners, associate ambulance practitioner, technicians, paramedics, emergency care practitioners, critical care paramedics, the hazardous area response team, nurses, and managers.

Day and night shifts are available and you’ll be paid overtime, but you do need to be on a rest day as our core-service can’t be compromised and unfortunately you can’t be released to work at the festival. Please also be aware that no accommodation is available for staff working at the event.

If you want more information, or would like to cover a shift, please email vfestival.staff@eastamb.nhs.uk detailing your grade and what shifts you would be able to assist with. Please also include a phone number – the team will need to call you to discuss any potential festival shifts, so without one your interest won’t be registered.
