We are YOUR comms team

Side of RRV with lozenge

You hear from us on a regular basis; we can often be seen appearing in your stations and offices.  But what can the communications team do for you?

The communications team is here to link people together, whether those people are staff and volunteers, patients, public, or media, stakeholders and other organisations.

You may have seen our recent coverage of V Festival on Twitter, which was aimed at not only giving the public a look behind the scenes but also to show staff who haven’t experienced working at V before what it is like. If you haven’t already seen our tweets you can find us on Twitter @EastEnglandAmb. We also have a Facebook Page (East of England Ambulance Service) and Instagram account (eastenglandamb) that are regularly updated.

We also arrange patient meet ups, which are always a great way of reinforcing to staff why it is they do this job. If you ever go to a job you think would make a good media story, maybe someone at the scene deserves special recognition, then be sure to get in touch.

Both our internal and external websites, as well as the rolling news site, Need to Know, are run by the comms team. We are always looking for contributors and great stories to share, so please do bear us in mind if you have any great ideas.

Our strengths lay in sharing information and getting a message across. We can help create posters, infographics, animations and videos for any projects you may have.

Our YouTube channel is becoming increasingly popular and we use this to share videos about training, messages from staff and the executive team and most recently, coverage of the official opening of Chelmsford station. If you have any ideas for a video, or need help creating one, then please get in touch.

The communications page on the Intranet gives you all of the teams contact details, as well as a contact comms form. You can also message us via our WhatsApp number 07739 325263.
