West Norfolk cycle sportive

Ambulance side shot

Senior Emergency Medical Technician Richie Cullip is organising a cycle sportive to raise money for five great charities.

The event on 9th September will take place throughout West Norfolk. It will include stops at all six stations, finishing at King’s Lynn. At each station along the course budding bakers within the Trust will be on hand supplying cake and refreshments.

The course will be available for download, and will involve approximately 117.5 miles of cycling.

The charities are all close to the hearts of the staff that have picked them:

  • NARS (Norfolk Accident Rescue Service)
  • TASC (The Ambulance Service Charity)
  • Action for AT (Ataxia Telangiectasia charity)
  • Andrew Hill (provides support and logistics to relatives of people suffering long term conditions)
  • The Children Accident and Emergency at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The event will start at 7am and is open to EEAST staff only. It is free to take part, however, we do ask that everyone encourages family and friends to donate to these great causes through the Virgin Money page and collection boxes that are available at local stations.

You can keep up to date on the event through our Facebook page, where you can also download a flyer to put up in your stations and offices.
