Ambulance nurses to join EEAST

Thank you all for continuing to provide an excellent service to our patients, during this pandemic.

Over the past few months, as restrictions eased, many of us have come back in to work within the Trust. However, following this week’s announcement from the Prime Minister (22 September) we are once again being asked to work from home wherever possible.

If you are currently working from home, please continue to do so. You should only attend a work site if it is absolutely necessary, or you have been advised by your manager to do so.

I am sure many of us will be disappointed at not being able to return to work just yet. The past six months have demonstrated the importance of taking into account people’s emotional wellbeing when discussing remote working and we expect all our managers to have this conversation with their staff.

As part of our commitment to safeguarding your health, safety and wellbeing, any member of staff who currently works from home or is planning to in the future is required to complete an online Temporary Home Working Risk Self – Assessment form.

If you complete the form and have responded ‘NO’ to any of the questions, please arrange a discussion with your line manager to explore alternative options, in line with HR advice.

Once the form is complete, please ensure that before you click to submit you also tick ‘YES’ to receive an email receipt of your responses, for discussion with your line manager.
