Workplace Harassment Survey

Transparent EEAST crest

As you will be aware the CQC recently conducted a survey of EEAST staff in relation to culture and behaviours. The findings of this survey were clearly reflected in the subsequent report which found a culture of bullying, harassment and negative behaviours in general within our organisation.

This finding is also reflected in the most recent Pulse survey, the results of which we are also publishing today and which you can view here.

We all want EEAST to be an excellent place to work and nobody should come to work with the fear and worry of being subjected to bulling or harassment of any kind. It is therefore imperative that we address the cultural issues within our organisation immediately.

To aid us in tackling this issue quickly, effectively and once and for all, we are conducting our own Workplace Harassment Survey to help us understand the extent of the problem and help shape and refine our response. You can fill the survey in here. It is completely anonymous and we would like every member of staff to fill this in over next 10 days.

We are already taking action to address the cultural issues we face and in recent months have increased resources to enable staff to raise concerns effectively including the appointment of a full time Freedom To Speak Up Guardian. We want to make it very clear, if you are being bullied or harassed we want you to Speak Upif you see other people being bullied or harassed we want you to Speak Out against it, and if you are bullying or harassing others, to put it simply we want you to Stop

Completing this survey is vital in helping us all stop harassment and bullying at EEAST.

Thank you
