Yellow weather warning for snow

A yellow weather warning for snow has been issued for early next week.

The Met Office has forecast that snow showers could affect much of the East of England from 4pm on Monday and all day on Tuesday.

The Trust has plans in place to deal with bouts of unexpected and unpredicted extreme weather conditions.

Extra crews will be on shift over this weekend for an anticipated increase in demand during the cold weather and additional managers will be on duty.

Each locality area also has stocks of equipment and supplies for winter. The Trust has two specialist HART teams that are able to respond in adverse conditions, which are based at Melbourn and Great Notley.
