Your CPR skills could win you a free trip to Norway

A trip to Luton ambulance station this month could win you a trip abroad – if you can prove your CPR skills.

Luton ambulance station is holding its very own Cardiac Fun Day on Tuesday, 14th July, to help staff and volunteers refresh their knowledge of clinical cardiac care.

Clinical equipment company Laerdal will be on-site running a CPR competition, where the person who performs the best two minutes of CPR will be entered into a draw to win a trip to Stavanger in Norway, home of the Laerdal headquarters.

Also up for grabs are a number of tickets to the Research Councils UK (RSUK) ‘scientific symposium’ in November, including overnight accommodation.

There will also be an ECG competition, and you’ll get the chance to see the LUCAS chest compression system in action.

Open to staff, volunteers and partner agencies, the day starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm, but staff are welcome to stay for as little or as long as they would like.
