Your special contributions honoured

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend Wednesday evening’s awards ceremony near Cambridge, which marked the long service and special contributions of staff, volunteers and the public.

We hope you enjoyed yourselves and were able to catch up with colleagues and meet new people alike, celebrating all kinds of achievements and milestones.

A big thank you also goes to managers and admin teams who were able to ensure patient-facing colleagues could be at the ceremony with their guests – it means a lot to the organisers that they can get as many award recipients all under one roof on the same date! Thanks also to UNISON representatives Michael Whitcombe, Jessica Micalleg and Graham Hillman for their support at the event and to Michael Whitcombe & Jessica Micallef who were involved in reviewing the nominations,

We will be producing a special Need to Know PDF with our photographer’s professional shots as soon as possible, so please look out for that. We will also be looking for feedback from guests about what you enjoyed, what could be improved, and what you’d like to see next time but if you have a comment, question, query or idea now, you can email awards@eastamb.nhs.uk - just be aware we will be scaling back the frequency it is monitored now that the event has taken place.
