24 Hours in EoE is back

A unique insight into EEAST on one of the most challenging days of the year is being played out on social media users for a third year running.

To coincide with Black Friday tomorrow (15th December), the Communications Team will run the Winter Twitterthon, highlighting the work of the service and the type and sheer volume of calls received this time of year.

The day is traditionally known as Black Friday because of its connection with Christmas parties and nights out.  Last year, the service took 3,276 calls.

The Twitterthon can be followed by using #24HoursinEoE, and starts at 6.30am. Included in the day’s coverage is a Waltham Abbey crew in west Essex, colleagues in Cambridge, and the EOCs.

All of the information about Winter health can be found following #winterwise, #staywellthiswinter and search in NTK and East24 about flu fighters and Trust resilience.
