PPI team report “good feedback” in Welwyn Garden City

PPI at Welwyn Garden City April 2015

Dozens of shoppers visited the patient and public involvement (PPI) team at the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City last week, and told them how good they thought the service was.

PPI Manager Victoria Boyce said: “The event went really well and we got a lot of good feedback about the service. It is important to hear what the public think so we can look to learn and improve.

“We also gave out information on a range of different subjects such as community first responders, recruitment, the Trust User Group and our ‘advice from your ambulance service’ leaflet, which is also available on our website.”

The PPI team regularly take the EEAST public engagement stand to events and shopping centres in the region, and are always grateful for help from clinical staff with giving health advice and offering blood pressure checks to the public.
