A thank you from the Vaccination Team

The vaccination clinics at EEAST have now closed.

After a second 12-week programme at EEAST, we have now completed the course of two doses for the majority of staff and volunteers with 94% having received both doses.

We would personally like to thank our staff and volunteers for the tremendous response and engaging in the program. You are not only protecting yourselves, friends and families but also the patients we serve. Thank you.

Any new starters, or those who still require their first dose, should now book via the national NHS programme, local GP surgery or community pharmacy. More information can be found here.

Please let us know if you have decided not to have the second dose, as we still require this information for our records.

Although our Covid-19 positive cases for employees have dropped, we all need to be aware of the signs and symptoms of Covid-19. Testing remains vitally important for all of us. We encourage you to take part in LFT & LAMP testing as we continue to fight against this virus. For more information, please speak to your local Covid/ LFT representative.

We are, of course, still monitoring the situation with Covid-19 both nationally and within the East of England. At this time, Covid-19 secure precautions and restrictions will remain in place. Any information regarding future vaccination plans will be communicated to you as soon as possible.
