AMBI training dates announced

Webinar

The AMBER incident investigation process (AMBI) is going live in the next few weeks. It is a middle tier of investigation to cover those incidents that don’t quite meet the Serious Incident (SI) threshold.
These investigations will continue to run by the local investigator, but supported by the patient safety team with the view of introducing a greater depth of investigation, an AMBI incident report and Trust wide learning.

The first steps are to get all DATIX KPi holder investigators trained, along with any other managers who undertake DATIX investigations.
From here we will provide guidance and support to help you through the AMBER process as it is embedded in your locality/AOC.
The training is aimed at Trust Managers Band 7 and above only:

If you are a KPi Datix holder LOM or a LOM/AGM who undertakes DATIX investigations, please could you book onto one of the online Ops Managers Teams training session on EVOLVE.

If you are an AOC Manager or clinical co-ordinator, please book onto one of the AOC Manager Teams training sessions on EVOLVE.
