Birth registrations following a delivery

EEAST RRVs and amb on scene

Staff are reminded that they need to fill in the location of where a birth happened, so that registrars can make the most accurate record possible.

A handful of recent incidents where this hasn't been done has prompted the request from registrars around the region.

It relates mainly to those births where the mother is not at home such as roadside, public location, etc.

Please always state the most accurate location you can give e.g. southbound carriage way of xx road, car park of supermarket, and so on.
