Black History Month 2021

This October see’s the return of Black History Month, which this year has the theme of Proud to Be.

EEAST’s BME network have been working alongside the National Ambulance BME Forum to produce content that will be shared on their social media throughout the month. You can follow and join in the conversation on Twitter (@NatAmbBME) and Instagram (ambulance_bme_forum).

The forum will be sharing stories from BAME colleagues throughout the country on what makes them Proud to Be part of their community, as well as their favourite family recipes.

The EEAST BME network will also be talking about their own experiences, which we will be sharing on Need to Know throughout the month, as well as giving an update on the work that the network has undertaken throughout 2021.
