Calling paramedics for a new stroke research study!

The RIGHT-2 is a 2-year stroke trial that tests the pre-hospital administration of GTN patches vs. sham patches by paramedics in FAST positive patients with a score of two or three.

This is a UK-wide ambulance-based study which is exploring whether lowering blood pressure at the acute onset of stroke (<4 hours), reduces death and disability.

Our research support services team is now looking for expressions of interest from qualified paramedics to participate in this exciting new research study.

You need to be based or work predominately out of the following ambulance stations. These have chosen based on their location to the RIGHT-2 participating hospitals:

• Peterborough
• March
• Longwater
• Attleborough
• Cromer
• Bury St Edmunds
• Diss
• Stowmarket
• Thetford
• Ipswich
• Felixstowe
• Saxmundham
• Colchester
• Clacton
• Harwich
• Weeley

More stations may be added as the study progresses - we will keep you posted.
