The College of Paramedics (COP) is delighted to announce, that the number of registered paramedics on full memberships in the region rose by 22% last year.

The region now has 582 registered paramedic members, 163 student members on the Trust's student ambulance paramedic, pathway and a further 337 university students - making a total of 1,082 members.

Staff who are not paramedics or on a paramedic pathway can still become a member of the COP via the associate membership. This means they will have access to CPD, discounts, the online British Paramedic Journal, Paramedic Insight magazine, and monthly newsletters.

There are also still places on the 2017 National College of Paramedics on 9th and 10th May at St Johns Hotel in Solihull. More details can be found on the COP website.

Broomfield Hospital is also offering a free burns study day conference on the 1st June and more details on this can be found on the COP website.
