Paper cups to be rolled out across Trust

We are delighted to announce that we are making the switch from polystyrene water cups to 100% recyclable water cones.

Polystyrene can take over 500 years to biodegrade putting huge pressure on landfill sites. However, the new water cones can be recycled with regular paper waste or composted allowing them to be manufactured into other useful materials.

The result of the switch will prevent 150,000 non-biodegradable cups from going to landfill. This is one step towards the reduction of single waste streams at EEAST.
