Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Week 2021

This week is the annual Equality, Diversity and Human Rights Week (#EQW2021).

Now in it's ninth year, the week is a national platform and a great opportunity for EEAST to highlight their work to create a fairer and more inclusive organisation for patients and staff.

To demonstrate how this works at EEAST, we have themed each of the next four days and will be putting an article in Need to Know every day for the rest of the week;

Tuesday, 11^th May 2021;                   EEAST training around the EDI agenda

Wednesday, 12^th May 2021;             The Cultural Ambassadors programme

Thursday, 13^th May 2021;                 Our five Staff Networks

Friday, 14^th May 2021;                      How EEAST and the NHS support and comply with Human Rights principles.
