Final module 7 course finishes

The final five clinicians have finished the Trust’s last module seven course and taken huge strides towards becoming registered paramedics.

Chad, Rob, Jonny, Karen and Hayley were all part of the eight-week course, which ended in Chelmsford on 24th April.

The course taught skills in advanced life support, intubation and cannulation, drug and fluid therapy as well as in-depth patient assessment. The completion of this course means that all the Trust’s cohort of former student paramedics have now finished their clinical training.

The group have a four-week hospital placement and will need to write a case study, to achieve a Certificate in Emergency Medical Care and register as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Chief Executive Anthony Marsh added: “It is fantastic, as always, to see our staff taking their clinical skills to the next level. I wholeheartedly congratulate each member of this group on their achievement.”
