First CPR-athon a big success!

CPRathon launch

A huge thank you to staff and volunteers who were involved in last week’s CPR- athon.

Hundreds of shoppers all over the county were taught basic life-saving skills and given advice on what happens following a 999 call.

Staff and volunteers from the Trust, East Anglian Air Ambulance, Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, MAGPAS, Norfolk Accident Rescue Service and Suffolk Accident Rescue Service simultaneously ‘took over’ shopping centres and community venues.

Chief Executive Robert Morton said: “The event was a big success and a great way of helping to improve the public’s confidence in their own CPR skills, which in turn could save lives. A big thank you to staff and volunteers involved for taking time out of your weekends to help.”
