Flu jabs for volunteers

Community first responders (CFRs) and other patient-facing volunteers (who are not employed elsewhere) are entitled to have the flu jab through the Trust’s programme.

They can attend any of our flu clinics by contacting their community collaboration manager or training officer to find out when and where the clinics are taking place.  Clinics are also advertised around the stations and on East24.  It will be necessary to complete a consent form before having the vaccination.

In addition, we’re hoping to soon launch a wellbeing bus, which will visit harder to reach places in order to offer the vaccine to a wider audience.

Please be aware however that volunteers will not be able to claim back the cost of having their jab outside of the Trust.

Remember, all the info on staff vaccination sessions can also be found on East24.
