From camera tech to Formula One: pre-hospital innovation conference

Places are still available on an air ambulance conference completely dedicated to new innovations in pre-hospital emergency medicine.

The Kent, Surrey, Sussex Air Ambulance (KSSAA) conference is taking place on 12th July in Brighton, and is described as ‘a conference for doctors, nurses, paramedics and students about how to think imaginatively, evaluate technology and effect change in pre-hospital medicine.’

Following last year’s Brain Injury Conference, KSSAAT presents another exciting event with wide ranging speakers challenging how we think about what we do. Subjects include using camera technology to identify head injury in professional sports; debating whether the ultrasound device will soon eradicate the stethoscope; and how Formula One race car technology may lead to better ways of monitoring the trapped RTC patient.

For more information or to book a place, please visit the event website, or email iPHEM@kssairambulance.org.uk.
