Luton station to open its doors to the public for charity

As part of a mammoth charity challenge, a group of staff from south Bedfordshire will be holding a station open day to raise money for charity.

For one day only, Luton station will be open to the public on Saturday, 25th February between 11am-3pm, with bake sales, advanced life support demos and plenty of fun for all the family.

All donations will go to Luton based charity, Keech Hospice, which provides essential care to adults and children who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses.

As well as the open day, the group will be swapping their greens and running either the 10k, a half marathon or the epic 20-mile race on Sunday, 5th March at the Milton Keynes festival of running.

The team have been challenged by Bedfordshire Police to raise as much money as they can for their chosen charities – so if you would like to make a donation to our amazing fundraisers (and help them beat the other emergency services!), please visit their JustGiving page.
