A man has been jailed after sexually assaulting a Trust paramedic last year.

Jan Golesz was found guilty by a jury in Norwich Crown Court last week after the assault in November and sentenced to 12 months behind bars.

Duty Manager Carl Smith said: “This was a really good result and shows that we don’t accept this kind of behaviour. Our paramedic did brilliantly in coming forward and giving evidence in court. It shows others that they can come forward, be supported and get justice.”

Chief Executive Anthony Marsh added: “We will always offer complete and utter support to any member of staff who is assaulted by someone they are trying to help and we will always pursue a prosecution in these cases.”
