Mandatory training handbooks are on their way

The new 2015-16 Mandatory Training Handbook and Assessment books are now arriving at locations across the Trust.

You only need to complete the booklet when you are due to do so (a year after you completed the 2014-15 workbook). You receive an email soon letting you know when your renewal date is, and you’ll get another reminder nearer the time.

Not everyone has to complete the full workbook – the requirements for different staff groups are indicated so you’ll be able to clearly see which chapters you need to complete for your role. There’s a separate assessment booklet that contains multiple choice answer sheets for different staff groups. When you are due to complete the booklet, please complete the tear-out multiple choice answer sheet so it can be assessed by your line manager.

Your mandatory training certificate will then need to be completed and sent through to the learning and development unit at Melbourn. A copy certificate is provided in the assessment booklet for use with your own records.
