New display and functionality for MDT

As you will have recently seen on Need to Know, we are migrating to a new regional model for the display and functionality used on our mobile data terminals (MDTs). 

A few weeks ago we rolled out the new model to a number of vehicles across our region; we have now reviewed the feedback and are pleased to confirm that we are now ready to rollout the system across the entire Trust. 

The rollout will take place on the following dates: 

• Tuesday 28^th October – all Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire vehicles 
• Tuesday 4^th November – all Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire vehicles 
• Tuesday 11^th November – all Essex vehicles 

After midday on the day your vehicles change, you will notice a slightly different layout of your MDT when you log in; the look and feel is the same but some functions you previously had may not be there and there will be some new terminology and functions.
