New NHSmail feature

You are now able to send secure emails from your NHSmail account to users of non-accredited or insecure email services such as Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and those ending in .nhs.uk.

For full details on how to do this, please read the instructions from the Health and Social Care Information Centre.

Please be aware that this is restricted to NHSmail – emailing personal data (outside of what is permitted in Trust policy) to and from Eastamb accounts is strictly forbidden.
