New safeguarding app has landed!

A new safeguarding app has been launched and is available for colleagues to download – and it’s free!

The app has been designed by the region’s safeguarding forum, which includes our own Safeguarding Lead, Simon Chase.

Simon said: “I have watched the app being built over the past months and the content is right up to date.  The app can be used offline, the information is always to hand, and will be updated regularly.

“Even though the safeguarding forum only covers Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, the content can be used by all colleagues.  Please just remember that any safeguarding referral relating to EEAST should be directed through our single point of contact (SPOC), 0345 602 6856, and not through the channels as indicated on the app.”

The safeguarding app is available on both IOs and Google Play and can be viewed here.
