New trauma equipment rolls out in Bedfordshire

New trauma equipment rollout in Luton

More than 50 paramedics completed their training on how to use the Trust’s new trauma equipment in Luton last week, the first frontline staff in the service to do so.

Ambulances in Luton have now been equipped with the EZ-IO intraosseous infusion system, trauma packs, traction splints and a new glucose meter.

In the first in a series of articles on the new equipment, an introductory video to the EZ-IO was published on Need to Know last week.

You can now watch the video to see the day in action!
