Nitrous oxide stolen in Beds

Blurred ambulance

Thefts of nitrous oxide are on the up, Bedfordshire Police has warned.

Containers of the gas, which we know as Entonox, have been stolen from across Bedfordshire in the last few days.

We’re asking staff to be extra vigilant in making sure vehicles and stores are kept secure and checked regularly, and to report any damage or suspicious activity to the police as soon as possible.

If used incorrectly Entonox, or ‘laughing gas’, can be very dangerous and has been known to lead to addiction and serious brain damage.
