Passing of Rod Goodwin

Transparent EEAST crest

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of a much loved character Rod Goodwin who died suddenly and unexpectedly on 1st January.

Rod was a paramedic clinical educator who worked mainly in the Hellesdon Training and Education Centre, Norwich, responsible for the delivery of student paramedic training.

All those who met, or were educated by Rod will miss his dedicated but light-hearted character.  He helped to influence many staff in his time here and we are both extremely grateful for his knowledge and time and are sad to hear of his passing.

Rod’s family would like to welcome anyone who wishes to attend his funeral to come along and celebrate his life.

The details are as follows;

Wednesday 28th January -
11:30 Mintlyn Crematorium, Lynn Road, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE32 1HB
13:00 Swaffham Baptist Church, 38 Station Street, Swaffham, Norfolk, PE37 7HP

EEAST staff are asked to wear Trust uniform or bright colours.

Rod’s family have requested family flowers only, and if anyone wishes to make a donation, it will be given to a charity that Rod supports.
