Blurred ambulance

The Norfolk 111 service, which is run by EEAST, was praised in feedback from those who had to use the service in July.

The high satisfaction scores for each part of the service – the initial call, advice given, and the way the service handled the patient’s problem, included:

  • patients satisfied with the service overall - 90%
  • patients who felt the initial call handler was very professional - 92%
  • patients who felt the clinical staff they went on to speak to were very professional - 98.1%
  • patients who felt they were treated with respect and dignity - 98.8%
  • patients who felt the service they received met or exceeded their expectations - 86.4%

Chief Executive Anthony Marsh said: “I’d like to thank the staff for their hard work in achieving these high scores; they really prove that the 111 service can work well for patients.”
