Places available on EZ-I0 training session

A free CPD training session on the use of EZ-I0 is taking place in Ipswich, and is open to all staff.

The session, being run by Teleflex, is designed to help clinicians develop their knowledge, understanding and the essential skills needed when using the EZ-IO intraosseous vascular access system in emergency situations. The following will be covered:                                                 

• EZ-IO clinical principles
• sites (land-marking exercises)
• needles
• comfort and monitoring
• practical demonstration
• case studies on application of the EZ-IO system in key intraosseous sites.

The session will be at the Postgraduate Medical Education Centre, at Ipswich Hospital on Tuesday, 19^th July, from 2-5pm. Refreshments and an attendance certificate will be provided.
