Places left on ‘laughology’ workshop

There are just a few places left on our emergency services ‘laughology’ workshops – interactive sessions designed to give you real-life tips to improve your resilience and wellbeing.

Being run as part of the Mind Blue Light Programme, and in support of our recent mental health pledge, the sessions are running next Tuesday (14th June) at the Essex Police headquarters. The manager workshop is 10am-12pm, and will include feedback on the progress we’ve made so far, and the general session for all staff will run from 1-2pm.

‘Laughology’ is a unique approach to communication, development and thinking that uses the psychology of humour and happiness as its foundation. The workshop, which is open to fire and police teams too, will also be looking at how we can better support colleagues in the emergency services when it comes to mental health.

If you’d like to book a place, please contact Victoria Harris, our Organisational Development Administrator, at victoria.harris2@eastamb.nhs.uk.
