Our latest Quality Account which includes input from our commissioners and Healthwatch organisations has now been published and contains a wealth of information on the care delivered during 2020/21 against the nationally mandated and our own local priorities.

The Quality Account is a mandatory report about the quality of services an NHS healthcare trust provides, and is required to be completed in line with the Health and Social Care Act.  It is set against the framework of three overlapping key themes which can be used to define quality of care; Patient Safety, Clinical Effectiveness and Patient Experience.

Dr Tom Davis, Interim Chief Executive said: Despite the challenges this year, our staff and volunteers continue to provide outstanding care to patients, as we work in partnership with the wider health economy. I am extremely proud to be part of this organisation, and the high-quality care we deliver 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. We will continue to make the improvements needed whilst ensuring the patient and our community remain at the heart of our planning and progress.’
