A new Trust version of the safeguarding adults handbook has been published and will soon be issued to every staff member.

The handbook covers:

  • professional responsibilities
  • categories of abuse
  • your role as an alerter
  • information sharing
  • Mental Capacity act
  • consent and best interests
  • deprivation of liberty
  • pressure ulcer staging
  • prevent
  • domestic violence and abuse.

The handbook will only be issued to every staff member on this occasion.
