Blurred ambulance

The Institute of Alcohol Studies (IAS), an independent research body, is conducting research into the impact alcohol has on emergency services in England and has designed a survey specifically for ambulance staff.

This survey has been developed with the help of the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives and the results will be published during the political party conference season. It is hoped the findings will inform the terms of reference for a parliamentary inquiry in the autumn.

To take part in the survey, please visit the IAS’ Survey Monkey site.

The IAS is undertaking a similar exercise across police forces and also hopes to survey A&E staff to get a rounded picture.
